TRAMA
“Casa di bambola, Parte 2” è un’opera teatrale di Lucas Hnath, scritta come sequel del celebre dramma “Casa di bambola” di Henrik Ibsen. Ambientata 15 anni dopo la conclusione dell’originale, la storia inizia con il ritorno di Nora Helmer nella casa che aveva abbandonato. Nora, ora una scrittrice di successo e sostenitrice dei diritti delle donne, ha bisogno del divorzio formale dal marito Torvald per evitare complicazioni legali. L’opera, pur trattando temi importanti, è una commedia che riesce a far ridere il pubblico, offrendo un’intensa ma anche divertente riflessione sui rapporti umani e sulle aspettative sociali.

TRAMA | PLOT
On 18 November 1987 a fire broke out in the Underground station at London’s King’s Cross claiming the lives of 31 people. An unidentified victim, known for over 20 years as ”Body 115”, appears here, like Dante’s Virgil, as a spirit guide to accompany poet Jan Noble from the sewers of London to the heart of Milan. Escaping the rain, a journey on the London Underground becomes a descent into the underworld in this award-winning, one hour show.
Il 18 novembre 1987 un incendio scoppiò nella stazione della metropolitana di King’s Cross a Londra, causando la morte di 31 persone. Una vittima non identificata, nota per oltre 20 anni come “Corpo 115”, appare qui, come il Virgilio di Dante, come spirito guida per accompagnare il poeta Jan Noble dalle fogne di Londra al cuore di Milano. Un viaggio nella metropolitana di Londra, diventa una discesa negli inferi in questo pluripremiato spettacolo di un’ora.

TRAMA | PLOT
Henry Harry is living a life of seclusion in the middle of the Alaskan tundra when Rosanna DeLuce bursts through his door. She is soaking wet, in a wedding gown and veil, and it’s not quite clear to either of them how she arrived in this place or what it was that made her flee her wedding thousands of miles away in Arizona. Through the course of the play, these guarded strangers break down the walls they have built and expose their Brilliant Traces, the invisible scars that make them human.
Henry Harry vive da eremita in mezzo alla tundra dell’Alaska, quando Rosanna DeLuce irrompe nella sua casa. Fradicia dalla testa ai piedi, in abito da sposa, non è chiaro neanche a lei cosa l’abbia condotta in quel luogo o cosa le abbia fatto abbandonare in fretta e furia il suo matrimonio in Arizona, a migliaia di chilometri di distanza. Durante il corso dello spettacolo, questi due estranei finiranno per abbattere i muri che si sono costruiti ed esporre le loro Brilliant Traces, le tracce brillanti, cicatrici invisibili che li rendono umani.
